Motorsportmugs Blog
What a fantastic but long couple of days on Rally the Globe’s generations rally,we provided (which we think is a unique service in the uk)bespoke finishers award mugs for all competitors using photos taken by us on the event.
we headed to regularity 1 just off the St. John’s in the vale road tog 1 took photos on the bridge where I was on a sweeping right hander this meant we could get a least 2 shots of each car unfortunately we only had 3 quarters of the field as a rtc on the route had closed the road, this meant the remaining crews had to re route via kirkstone pass.
We then headed to reg 2 above Keswick with this looking like a harder challenge for the navigators we opted to take the photos after the first junction to make sure de got photos of everyone.
Photos completed we headed home to print them on to mugs which took all night. Saturday-dawned sunny and hot we headed to waters farm near shap for the first test of the day we only need one or two photos to finish off.
After a hour checking we had every car printed we delivered he mugs back to the low wood hotel ready for the Sunday finish . there was a great assortment and the crews looked like the were enjoying the event photos can be found here https://motorsportmugs.smugmug.com/Rally-the-Globe-Generations-Rally
.This is a service we can offer to other events however depending on numbers it would need to be a 2-3 day tour.
