Motorsportmugs Blog
9 years ago on the 18th october Motorsportmugs.co.uk was launched.
The website was born after a drunken night in the macdonald arms on mull after it was clear demand for our pacenote mugs needed a online shop I think it was around 4am when it was finished . The website has changed a lot over the years I think we had 10 products when we launched now over 100 thanks to everyone for their continued support
The last blog we mentioned we had purchased a 3 d printer we soon launched our 3d printed stages
https://www.motorsportmugs.co.uk/3d_Track_stage_Art/cat1025911_4772827.aspx
this escalated somewhat within a week we purchased a second machine to keep up with demand, each print takes around 10 hours so it's been useful to get production time down.new stages are being added all the time and we can design any stage or track even if not listed feel free to get in touch.
Early October saw us with an event order for the York targa ,the first big order since lockdown a lot has changed over the months.the orginal COVID plan was a 2 weeks turnaround for events but with local lockdowns looming this is now unworkable with events not willing to commit on that timescale.so we are now looking at a few days turnaround with hand delivery York was 3 days before the event if you are interested in event giveaways get in touch
Hopefully On Halloween the devils will ride again Motorsportmugs will once again be sponsoring the devils lockdown tests part two, this time taking a targa feel, entry's were once again filled within an hour.i think it's gearing up to being another great event from martyn Taylor and Kirkby Lonsdale motor club, hopefully I will have a report and some photos after the event .
